[OTDev] Fwd: stand-alone programs for tox prediction

Dear Frits Daeyaert,

The OpenTox framework is designed as a network of webservices, which
can be deployed on the internet, but also on a local machine without
internet connection. Services can be accessed either through a REST API
or with Java and Ruby client libraries.

We (in silico toxicology) offer the lazar system for toxicity
predictions (see http://lazar.in-silico.ch), which is actively developed
both in terms of algorithms and models. lazar can run on a single
machine (although installation can be a little bit tricky - we offer
virtual appliances for that purpose). Let me know, if you need more
details.

I am sure other partners have similar services (IDEA e.g. has toxtree
http://toxtree.sourceforge.net/).

Best regards,
Christoph

We are exploring the possibility to extend synopsis with a toxicity prediction algorithm. For this we are looking for one or several stand-alone programs that take as input a single molecular structure and returns a score. Are there OpenTox applications available for this purpose? Kind regards Frits Daeyaert
