Dear Egon,

Science and Open PHACTS is back! We hope you've enjoyed your summer – or
for those of you in the southern hemisphere, that your winter has been
bearable. To kick off our new season of monthly webinars we are excited to
bring you an in-depth discussion of the open source chemistry
standardisation components developed during the Open PHACTS project.

*Webinar: *Open source software components for chemistry standardisation
*Date:* Monday, 24 October, 2016
*Time:* 15:00 BST
*Registration:* Free - register now online

Join Antony Williams (EPA, previously at RSC and ChemSpider) and Valery
Tkachenko (RSC, previously ChemSpider) as they discuss the software
components developed for Open PHACTS, including the Chemical Validation and
Standardization Platform, and a proof-of-concept implementation of a
platform to address structural standardisation issues. We will also review
the Open PHACTS software components that have been made available to the
wider community, and possible next steps for supporting and developing them
further.
